Pastoral Care

When we become a follower of Jesus, we are adopted as part of God's family.  Here on earth, that family is the church, and caring well for each other as a community is one of the characteristics of being a Christian.  In fact, Jesus Himself said:

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another - John 13:35

Here at Burton Elim Church the main way that our pastoral care is experienced is through belonging to one of our Connect Groups where we intentionally get to life together, supporting each other in every season.  We are also aware that for others there are pressures of life that can affect our wellbeing and mental health, and so we run our Re-stART group to provide a place of peer support for each other.

However we want everyone who is connected to Burton Elim Church to feel cared for, and we are very aware that for many there is a need to provide other forms of support.  Our Pastor, together with selected and trusted others, are committed to doing this and if you would like to let us know in confidence of a pastoral care need, or request a visit/meeting with the Pastor we have a confidential email address so you can let us know - pastoralcare@burtonelim.com

You can also contact us on the church office number, and leave a voicemail requesting a call back if the office is unmanned
