Connect Groups 

Connect Groups are central to the heart and vision of Burton Elim Church and are our main way to offer pastoral care, discipleship and sharing the Gospel story through building quality relationships. Acts 2:42-47 says that “they went from house to house and devoted themselves to fellowship, prayer, teaching and breaking of bread” and all of these elements are all part of the groups.

Connect Groups are a great place to be, with excellent hosts and leaders who will make you feel welcome and valued. You will be able to relax, make friends, pray and enjoy excellent fellowship. Our discipleship is designed around conversations on a given topic where the Bible remains central. Everyone has something to contribute, and we are confident your input and experiences will be greatly valued as part of this.

The groups generally meet twice a month at different locations across Burton, on different days and times so as to give everyone an opportunity to be involved. We try to offer people a group near them geographically, however this is flexible and will depend upon the numbers each group can physically fit in the home!
